Transfer punching
Transfer punching guarantees a high degree of productivity, and is particularly suitable if large numbers of hole patterns are required. Starting from cut sheet the punching is achieved through the use of thick turret or special tools. Consequently, more flexibility is achieved than with coil material. The transfer system can be supplied with either NC-controlled or linear motors.
There are no limitations with regard to the length and the width of the material. However, punching in the middle of the sheet demands ingenious solutions. Coil curvature in the sheet has no influence upon the punch tolerances.
Application. Used in the heating and lighting industries, for the production of electrical switch boxes. And where a high degree of productivity and low tolerances are demanded.
