Corner forming
Cold drawing of solid corners in pre-formed sections of thin metal sheet.This patented technology is an attractive alternative to deep drawing and welding It is especially suitable if the closed corner does not require finishing. This process is also suitable for pre-painted material.
The process allows an extra flange to be bent inward; this can be cut off afterwards depending on the application.The machine can be used as a stand-alone production unit or integrated in an automated production line. It is flexible enough to be used for smaller series as the setting of the product length and width does not require any dedicated product tooling.
Application. Corner forming is an ideal solution for office furniture, electrical switch box doors and household appliances. The esthetic and hygienic qualities of the corners are an additional advantage in the household sector.
